FROM SAFETY INSPECTORS UK
We work with businesses on the everyday realities of health and safety. LoneApp brings that perspective to keeping lone workers connected.
Meet the company behind LoneAppThe iPhone app and dashboard are in testing. Email, SMS, calls and push are still being connected or developed. Background operation and fall detection need further device validation.
LoneApp is in development and testing. You can request a demonstration and discuss your requirements, but it is not yet available as a verified live safety monitoring service. The screenshots show a development build. This website does not monitor you or contact anyone.
The current mobile build is for iPhone. Android support is part of the intended product direction, but it has not yet been confirmed as available. The manager dashboard is designed for a web browser.
The intended flow gives the worker a reminder and a configurable grace period before raising an alarm. Check-in deadlines and activity deadlines are handled separately on the server. Notification delivery and backup escalation must be verified before live use.
Suspected fall and inactivity alerts are part of the development scope. Detection still needs validation on supported physical devices and will be supplementary: phone position and device behaviour can affect whether an incident is detected.
LoneApp is being designed around your organisation’s nominated primary and backup responders. A staffed alarm receiving centre is not currently included. Your business will need a clear response arrangement before using the service.
The product requirement is to share location only during an active activity or unresolved emergency. Location handling and permissions are being tested. The app’s privacy information will be available before live onboarding. This website does not request your location.
Pricing and launch arrangements have not been announced. Tell us about the number of workers, the types of activities and the response arrangements you need, and we can discuss the next steps.
